Why India?

Today just over half of global spending on remotely provided service work flows to India. No other nation among the 44 service provider countries even comes close. The Philippines, the second-largest service provider, attracts only eight percent of global spending.

India is home to the largest number of BPO service providers, and the largest pool of experienced workers -- including managers and technicians -- employed by the global industry.

India consistently tops the global rankings of the most attractive country for locating back-office service units. And despite rising wages, India is expected to retain its hold on that No.1 spot for years to come, due to its huge pool of well-trained workers, reputation for service quality, and expanding scope of services.
